Handbuilt Ring Cone
Fine white ceramic body, painted with a speckled blue underglaze, with a glossy white tip accent & then glazed for function. Glazes are handmade so there may be variation in colour & surface application.
Each piece is fired twice; first at a lower temperature to make the clay less fragile for painting & glazing (known as bisque baking). Then to a higher temperature to melt the glaze to the surface (known as a glaze fire).
