Handbuilt Pen & Glasses holder
Fine white ceramic body, painted with red underglaze & then glazed for function. Glazes are handmade so there may be variation in colour & surface application. Each piece is fired twice; first at a lower temperature to make the clay less fragile for painting & glazing (known as bisque baking). Then to a higher temperature to melt the glaze to the surface (Known as a glaze fire).
